I can't remember the fixed IP address. How can I still log on to the Modalarm-IP?

To reset the dialler to DHCP by pressing the reset button 4 times for 3 seconds at 1-second intervals.

Then carry out the following operations to log on:

  1. Connect the MIP to the network
  2. Start IP-prog and select the desired MIP or go with a web browser directly to the IP address of the MIP
  3. Click on the 'Log on' button
  4. Enter the pincode: 1111 for a (standard) administrator or 9999 for an installer
Can I set a fixed IP address in the Modalarm-IP?

Yes you can, the dialler can be set to both a fixed IP address and DHCP.

Perform the following actions:

  1. Connect the MIP to the network
  2. Start IP-prog and select the desired MIP or go with a web browser directly to the IP address of the MIP
  3. Click on the 'Log on' button
  4. Enter the pincode: 1111 for a (standard) administrator or 9999 for an installer
  5. Go to 'Connections' and then to 'Ethernet' and select 'Enter manually'
  6. Enter and save the IP address and network data
Can the inputs also be set as analogue inputs?

Yes, you can. All four inputs can be set as contact, 0-10V or 4-20mA input.

Perform the following actions to change the setting per input:

  1. Connect the MIP to the network
  2. Start IP-prog and select the desired MIP or go with a web browser directly to the IP address of the MIP
  3. Click on the 'Login' button
  4. Enter the pincode: 1111 for a (standard) administrator or 9999 for an installer
  5. Go to 'inputs' and select the desired input and its setting (digital or analogue)
I want to activate an output at location A when an input at location B becomes active. Is this possible with the Modalarm-IP?

Yes, it is possible. With 2 Modalarm-IP modules you can transfer this action via the internet, both via the mobile and fixed internet (LAN/WAN).
