“Purchasing sometimes involves searching, sometimes switching gears, but always puzzling until everything fits perfectly, and I enjoy solving that puzzle.”
As a purchaser at Adésys, I ensure that the right components, semi-finished and finished assemblies are available at the right time. After selecting suppliers, I book incoming goods and ensure that they end up in the right place or are reserved for projects. I also maintain close contact with our assemblers about material deliveries and planning, and I create and check parts lists for internal and external production.
Searching for and finding the best components at a good price and working with our production partners give me the most energy in my work.
My favourite cuisine is Italian; good pasta and pizza make me happy. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors. I walk a lot with our two rescue dogs, Waldo and Kyra, and I enjoy cycling. I cycle to work or go mountain biking in the countryside. And for the past year, I have been a fanatic gym-goer. I also enjoy following Formula 1.
