CSD is an analogue dial-up technology on GSM networks and has been used in the M2M world for a long time. However, the newer IP technology has made CSD obsolete. Maintaining the complex CSD network technology no longer fits in the strategy of telecom providers and is therefore being phased out.

What does this mean for you?
As of 01.04.2021 this technique is no longer supported and devices in the data transmission field will have lost their connection with the network. It is therefore important to replace all hardware in time with IP-based solutions.
